Kuru toga is well-known for its auto-rotating lead mechanism to maintain a sharp tip while you write. The lightweight barrel provides comfortable grip and control. 

The differences between the standard and Pipe Slide is the upgraded auto-rotating lead mechanism which rotates twice faster and the retracted sleeve. The sleeve (the guide pipe) allows continuous writing without needing to click for more lead until the sleeve fully compresses. The sleeve can be completely retracted when not used to prevent damage to your pocket or bag.
